THE MOST BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED VACATION APARTMENT WE HAD EVER BEEN TO. We were 2 couples traveling together so we took the whole unit (2 apartments). High quality furnishing, very comfortable beds with 100% cotton white bed linens and soft white towels. Kitchen well equipped with lots of dinnerware and cutlery. Everything very clean, absolutely shining. Great location: At the centre of Pont Aven with direct river view from windows. Walking trail just at your doorstep, supermarket and boulangerie within 5-8 minutes walking. Claire, home owner, lives in the lower floor and is always quick to respond to any question, weather during reservation process or while staying. THIS PLACE IS A DREAM…! Wonderfully decorated with real art (no deco kitsch), this is a stylish and quiet apartment for 2 with all amenities. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfectly clean and well groomed.
Claire has an extensive library of maps and guidebooks of the region that will offer you enough inspiration for months…! She also prepared a very useful list of Restaurants, local stores, hiking suggestions, etc.
Free public parking right in front the house. Location off the touristy, busy part of Pont Aven, yet everything within walking distance.

Aug 2013 – “Probably  the most beautifully done holiday house we’ve had the good fortune to stay in. Wonderfully well equipped, stunning location, stylish and comfortable. Having the freedom to roam the parc, swim in the glorious pool, watch teenage boys fly through the trees on the tyrolienne and find the secret wells and lovely trees has been bliss. When you add in the delights of surfing at La Torche, the sweet prettiness of Locronan, the splendidly weird calvaire at Tronoen and the even weirder altar peice at Crozon, and boat trips in the bay of Morgat, it’s been a splendid holiday. And that doesn’t include the manifest delights of good food and wine everywhere you go. Nor the kindness of Claire and Andrew, who have been impeccable hosts, and Jasmin for the loan of her guitar. Oct 2015 “Nicest gite we have ever stayed in – and we have stayed in a lot – We can thoroughly recommend an autumn stay as the trees and grounds and just beautiful with all the leaves on the turn. We followed a well worn trail of Quimper, Benodet, Concarneau and Brest Oceanopolis, lovely days and wonderful to come back to such a homely house and logburner. “After a week here I can see why there are so many rave reviews. We have had a fabulous week both in the house and the surrounding area. We found some great beaches, lovely towns and really enjoyed being in the grounds. The pool was a big hit with the children as was the zip-wire. Mum’s bravery on that will live forever. “We stayed in several places all over La Bretagne, but this charming house in the middle of the beautiful Cap Sizun is one of our favourites. The weather was just fantastic, sunshine every day! We enjoyed walking on the GR34 between the several ‘pointes’ on the north side of the cape as well as the ‘sentier cotier’ at the end of the street leading to Audierne. The sunset at the Baie des Trepasses was breathtaking and the starry sky at night seen from the garden of the house, amazing. I can definitely say that this house did not disappoint. Despite our worries of forecast rain we were still able to get out and explore and it was lovely to come back to such a comfortable and relaxing house. Recommended jaunts included: Coastal walk to St Tugen, with a  well earned crepe and some cidre on our return at Anse du Loch. Day Trip to Quimper and Concarneau for some retail therapy on historic streets. Pointe du Raz walks, quite dramatic on a windy day. Locronan and Douarnenez – lovely seafood lunch at Le Capitainerie.
