The 15 hectare park at Kistinic is home to lots of wild animals (aside from us!). We have two lovely buzzards which have made their home in the woods, and owls can often be seen at dusk in the woodland alleys. We often see deer springing across the lawn in the early morning and evenings and yesterday there were too very young ones playing in the garden. We hope to have seen the last of the sangliers’ (wild boar) which have been busy digging up the grass over this winter, and we thought the ever present ‘taupes’ (moles) were under control, but this morning at Kistinic, we woke up to find a giant bug in the garden!
