There are over 1300km of cycle routes in Brittany. The region has a lace like network of beautiful quiet roads which are perfect for cycling. The cycle route No 5 is a scenic 113km signposted route on small roads and the occasional cycle path. The itinerary follows the west coast of Finistere, starting at the Pointe du Raz, hugging the bay of Audierne, and taking in the small fishing ports of the Pays Bigouden, to finally arrive at the pretty port of Sainte Marine. The cycling is mostly gentle with the occasional hills between Pointe du Raz and Pors Poullhan, and around Trunvel. For families, with a little organisation, it is easy to do small sections of the route and stretch it out over 5 days or so (especially for those of you staying at Ty Traez and Ty Bili as the route runs right through the village). For those of a more sporty nature – it is possible to go there and back in a day, no problem!

– Loctudy-Sainte-Marine : 6 à 20 km (depending on whether you take the ferry or not).

By boat: small foot ferries join l’Ile-Tudy to Loctudy et Bénodet to Sainte Marine ( 5 min), from April to September (check times with the tourist offices).
