A restored Stone Breton Longere
This house has now been sold and is no longer available for rental.
Ty Bili is a typical stone Breton Longere dating from 1836. Full of character, the house had been used for years as a barn for animals. Renovated to a very high standard of comfort and charm, we made Ty Bili stylish, super comfortable and luxurious, whilst keeping as much of the original charm as possible. Great care was taken to preserve all the original features, and yet add modern touches for a quirky contemporary interior. Downstairs the thick stone walls were covered in a natural lime plaster, and the large glass doors with views over the pretty garden let plenty of light into the large open plan living area with its cosy living area, fireplace and beautiful natural limestone floors. The bedrooms were furnished with comfortable beds and white cotton bed linen and the luxury bathrooms were a real treat. The house had top quality fixtures and fittings throughout and individual pieces of art and antiques, and was spaciously designed for five people.
This pretty stone cottage is located in the small hamlet of Primelin only 300m away from the coastal path and pebble beach, and within walking distance of the sheltered sandy beach of Anse du Loch with its bar and creperie and restaurant. The area is famous for its unspoilt, natural coastal scenery with some of the areas most beautiful beaches and stunning coastal walks. With nearby amenities this is the ideal base for a self catering holiday in this beautiful unspoilt part of Brittany. The Cap Sizun, from the Pointe du Raz to the Pointe du Van, has been labelled as one of the top 10 ‘Grand Sites’ in France, which is an accolade of the highest ranking for this exceptional natural environment.
“We have been holidaying in France, particularly Brittany, for 30 years. Ty Bili is the best house we’ve stayed in. Great attention to detail throughout and such a beautiful quiet garden. Having the coastal path on the doorstep has been a bonus.” – Richard, Karen, Hannah and Sarah.
